Towns & Nations

Towns & Nations

ClassiCraft uses a Towny-like system to allow players to claim land, protect their builds, and form communities. This guide will walk you through the basics of creating a town, managing residents, and expanding into a nation.

Creating a Town

To start a town, you need to have enough currency. Once you have the required funds, find a suitable location in the wilderness that is not too close to other towns.

/town new <town_name>

This command will create a new town with you as the mayor. The chunk you are standing in will become the “home block” of your town.

Managing Your Town

Claiming Land

As your town grows, you can claim additional chunks (16x16 blocks) to expand your territory.

/town claim

Each claim costs money from the town bank. Make sure to deposit funds into your town bank regularly.

Town Bank

Residents can donate to the town bank to help with upkeep and expansion.

/town deposit <amount>

Adding Residents

Invite your friends to join your town!

/town invite <player_name>

Nations

When your town becomes large enough and has enough residents, you can form a Nation. Nations can ally with other nations and exert influence over larger regions.

/nation new <nation_name>

Upkeep and Taxes

Towns require a daily upkeep cost. If the town bank runs out of money, the town may fall into ruin. Mayors can set taxes for residents to help cover these costs.

/town set taxes <amount>
