Begin your story

ClassiCraft is a structured roleplay SMP. Entry requires a Discord membership and a character application — this keeps the world coherent and the community intentional.

Application process

    Join Discord

    All coordination happens on Discord. Join the server and verify your age — ClassiCraft is 18+ and enforces this at entry.

  2. 2

    Read the world primer & rules

    Spend 15 minutes with the lore primer and community rules before writing your application. It makes a real difference to the quality of your character.

  3. 3

    Submit a character application

    Use the application template in Discord. Include your character's name, faction, background, and goals. Staff review within 48 hours.

  4. 4

    Get approved and connect

    Once approved, you'll receive your whitelist access. Connect via Java or Bedrock — your story begins from your first session.

Approval is typically within 48 hours. For questions, ask in #help-desk on Discord.

Requirements & expectations

  • 18 years or older — this is enforced, not optional
  • Discord account with notifications enabled for staff DMs
  • Minecraft Java 1.21.11 or Bedrock (latest Bedrock release)
  • Willingness to engage with character-driven storytelling — passive lurking is not what this server is for
  • Familiar with the rules and prepared to uphold them
  • Voice chat helpful but not required — roleplay works in text too

ClassiCraft is plugin-enhanced, not conventionally modded. No mods are required to connect or participate. A recommended resource pack may enhance your experience and will be linked in Discord.

Java Edition

  • Connect using play.classicraft.org on version 1.21.11
  • OptiFine, Sodium, and Fabric clients are welcome
  • ReplayMod is allowed for content creation
  • No cave-radar minimaps — standard minimap mods are fine

Bedrock Edition

  • Use the same server IP as Java: play.classicraft.org
  • Bedrock players share the same world as Java — no separate experience
  • After connecting, use /mc link code: in Discord to link your account
  • Bedrock chat bridges to Discord in real time
